Everyone lives in his or her own reality. In How To Meet A Mermaid, this reality is essentially experienced through the eyes of three people who all have a strong attraction to the sea: for Rebecca it is an adventurous job, for Lex an indispensable hobby and for Miguel the surfer, a competition. But the sea is primarily a way to disappear. Depending on their mood, the sea adapts itself to their desire and it turns into what they are looking for: a way out of their situation.
How to Meet a Mermaid is filmed by twice Academy nominated Danish DOP Lars Skree and narrated by Sofie Graaboel (BAFTA WINNER forThe Killing) and directed by Coco Schrijber.
